Kolber is from Pennsylvania who received her master's degree at the University of Miami. Her professional journey began as a Video Coordinator at CBS Sports, New York City. She received a locally-based Sports Emmy during her tenure at WTVJ-TV which is located in Miami. Additionally, she was employed by WPLG-TV in Miami as well as WPEC-TV located in West Palm Beach, Florida. She became a part of ESPN in 1993, and was one of the anchors for ESPN2 which was created.
